Take a bow, Bill Gates

Last year, I blogged about a meningitis vaccine. The Bill Gates Foundation was involved in funding research for it. Now there’s been some follow up. So far, there has been only one case of Meningitis in Burkina Faso this year. In the report, a comment by Doctor Sylvestre Kiendrebeogo sums up the vaccine’s effect perfectly:
“We have vaccinated 11.5 million people. There are very few cases since the vaccination.”
Take a bow, Bill Gates.
